CPSC and Health Canada Recall Toys Made in China

Recently, CPSC and Health Canada recalled the following children's toys which are made in China:
1. Step2 Sand and Water Transportation StationTrains
Hazard Identified:
The light blue plastic wheels can detach; these small parts pose a choking hazard to young children.
Corrective Action:
Consumers should immediately take the recalled train cars away from children and contact Step2 to obtain free replacement train cars.

2. Children's Light-Up Rings and Star Glasses
Hazard Identified:
If crushed or pulled apart, the plastic casing on the light-up rings and star glasses can break apart and expose the button-sized batteries; these small batteries pose an ingestion hazard to children.
Corrective Action:
Consumers should immediately stop using the affected products and return them to the nearest Chuck E. Cheese's restaurant for a refund or exchange.
3. Giant Stars
Hazard Identified:
The ball-like knobs on the plastic stars can break off, forming small parts; these small parts pose a choking hazard to young children.
Corrective Action:
Consumers should immediately take the recalled toys away from children and contact Borgfeldt Ltd. (distributor of the Giant Stars in Canada) for a replacement or credit towards another Edushape product.
