CTT Vietnam Holds Seminar on European and American Environmental Regulations

On March 21, 2024, the Vietnam branch of Consumer Testing Technology Co., Ltd. （CTT  Vietnam）successfully held a seminar titled "Analysis of European and American environmental regulations" in Hanoi, Vietnam, and around 100 business representatives participated in the meeting.

The seminar aims to help Chinese and Taiwanese companies in Vietnam to enhance their understanding of the environmental regulations and to ensure compliance of their production and business activities as well as to promote sustainable development.

In this informative seminar, CTT Vietnam experts provided a detailed analysis of EU and US environmental regulatory requirements, explored the challenges that companies may face in complying with these regulations, and provided practical advices on how to develop compliance strategies and solutions. In particular, the requirements of REACH regulations on chemical management, and the control of POPs regulations on persistent organic pollutants are issues that relevant enterprises need to pay attention to. At the same time, the RoHS directive on the use of hazardous substances restricted in electronic and electrical products is also the focus of corporate compliance. In terms of environmental regulations in the United States, the experts focused on the CPSIA requirements for children's product safety, the CA65 Act on the control of chemical substances, and the United States packaging directive TPCH specifications for chemical substances in packaging materials.In the interactive session, the experts and the representatives of enterprises launched a warm discussion and exchange on the problems of environmental laws and regulations encountered in practice. The participants gained a deeper understanding of European and American environmental regulations and realized the importance of compliance control.
