EU Revises Exemption of Cadmium in RoHS Appendix III

On May 21st, 2024, the European Union issued Directive (EU) 2024/1416, which revised the exemption of cadmium in Annex III of RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU).
Annex III to Directive 2011/65/EU is amended as follows:

(1) entry 39(a) is replaced by the following:

(2) the following entry is inserted:
