EU POPs legislation proposes to restrict Dechlorane Plus

On June 26th, 2024, the European Union proposed to add Dechlorane plus in Annex I of the Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) Act (EU) 2019/1021, aiming to completely restrict the use of DechloranePlus in the EU market, and launched a four-week public feedback.
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union. This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States. It shall apply from 26 February 2025.
