EU added a SVHC intentional substance

On October 10th, 2024, ECHA released information in official website, announcing that "Active Brown 51" was added to the intention substance of SVHC. The substance is currently in the stage of "the proposer prepares the file of related substances", and it is expected that the file will be submitted and a 45-day public comment will be initiated before February 3, 2025. If the feedback is approved, it will be formally added to the SVHC candidate list.
