Brazilian agency to tackle food contact materials and cosmetics

Brazil's Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) has published its regulatory agenda for 2013 and 2014 to include priorities for the year ahead.

Anvisa says it will focus on food contact materials, and a list of UV filters allowed in cosmetic products. It also plans to develop a list of substances that should not appear in certain consumer products.
