On Aug 6, 2024, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) published a new substance of intention for SVHC, barium chromate. ECHA expects to submit relevant information by Feb 3, 2025, and will launch a public consultation on the substance. During the public comment period, all interested parties can submit feedback to ECHA. If the review is approved, it will be officially added to the SVHC candidate list.
