In order to better protect children’s safety and health, National Toys Standard of China GB 6675 Toys Safety is revised and notified to WTO recently. New toys safety standards, referring to ISO 8124, are serialized with stricter safety requirements.
The new toys safety standards mainly include 4 parts, GB 6675.1 Basic Safety Requirements for Toys, GB 6675.2 Mechanical and Physical Properties, GB 6675.3 Flammability and GB 6675.4 Migration of Certain Elements, details of which are showed in Table 1.
These standards are under consultation, and plan to be effective in 6 months after the date of WTO approval.
