The EU Commission authorized that the national provisions notified by the Federal Republic of Germany concerning limit values for lead, antimony, arsenic, barium and mercury in toys, which are much stricter than that under EU toys safety direction 2009/48/EC, on decision 2013/492/EU published on OJEU recently.
The limit values for lead, antimony, arsenic, barium and mercury in toys in Germany are made according to the maximum daily bioavailability level. More details are showed in the following table.
