Turkey notifies WTO on new food contact rules

Turkey has notified the World Trade Organization (WTO) that it will amend its national food contact Regulation to add rules for the chemical recycling of plastics, as well as a release limit and labelling rules for aluminium in contact with food. Final date for comments is by 25 April 2014, new rules will take into force on 30 April 2014.
